AmigoFest
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an afternoon of food, music, family fun and cultural traditions at AmigoFest on Saturday, September 19, at Lyon College.
AmigoFest brings the community together to celebrate the rich cultures, traditions and contributions of Hispanic families in Batesville and throughout the region. This free, family-friendly festival will fill the Lyon College campus with live entertainment, authentic food, local vendors and activities for all ages.
Enjoy the sounds of a live mariachi band and DJ, explore cultural art displays and experience traditional activities throughout the afternoon. Children can play on the bounce houses, break open piñatas and join in games, while the entire family can play lotería—often described as Mexican bingo—for a chance to win prizes.
Whether you come for the music, the food or an opportunity to experience something new, AmigoFest offers a welcoming celebration built around culture, connection and community.
