H&M Glow Co. Celebrates Opening
A new business is offering 24-hour tanning and a family-driven spirit to Batesville. H&M Glow Co., at 2503 Harrison Street, just held its grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Local entrepreneur Katelyn Johnson owns H&M Glow Co., which she named after her two daughters, Harper and Miley. She says they inspired her to start the business.
“I’m usually inspired to do anything because of my girls,” Johnson said as she introduced her daughters and shared the story behind the H&M name.
The salon offers four tanning beds, including two at Level 1 for 20-minute sessions and two at Level 2, which have improved bulbs and larger surfaces and are for 15-minute sessions.
Level 1 memberships start at $49 a month; Level 2 is $69 a month and includes access to all four beds; and Level 3 costs $89 a month and includes all beds, lotion discounts, and the option to bring a guest each month at no cost.
At H&M Glow Co., members enjoy 24-hour access. To enter the salon after regular hours each member is given a personal PIN. You can purchase memberships via the company's website by first registering, then getting your access PIN by contacting H&M Glow Co.

H&M Glow Co. sells gift cards, lotions, and a range of other products, making it a suitable place to buy items for oneself, as holiday gifts, or as stocking stuffers.
The opening of H&M Glow Co. represents not only the establishment of a new business in the area but also an example of how women entrepreneurs contribute to strong rural communities.
