Chamber Holds Ribbon Cutting for Community Service, Inc.

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for Community Service, Inc. 


Community Service, Inc. is a nonprofit that serves at-risk youth and their families through various services, including foster care, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and juvenile justice. Community Services, Inc.'s Batesville office specializes in juvenile justice case management and outpatient mental health services for youth ages 4-18.

"We've been around since 1958; the founders of Community Service deduced that the goal was to provide for the needs of children and adolescents to prevent juvenile justice involvement and delinquency," said Community Service, Inc. President and CEO Susan Okroglic. "Over the years, we have expanded to cover 23 counties, 25 with prevention grants."


Community Service is ready to serve Batesville and Independence County, concluded Mrs. Okroglic.
