BACC Holds Ribbon-Cutting for Vital Link
The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for a new Vital Link ambulance base in Southside.
In conjunction with EMS Week, Vital Link is celebrating the opening of the Southside Ambulance base. Vital Link exists to provide high-quality emergency medical services while treating clients with dignity and providing excellent care. Vital Link EMS is committed to providing safe and efficient transport in the out-of-hospital setting, appropriate interagency medical transportation, and related community services for the citizens of our service area.
Kathy Lanier, Vital Link Chief Executive Officer, stated, “First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the hardworking team at Vital Link. Your commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication to serving our community are the driving forces behind our success. This new facility is a testament to your hard work and the outstanding service you provide each day. Our mission at Vital Link has always been to deliver exceptional emergency medical services and ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve. With the opening of this new base, we take another crucial step forward in fulfilling that mission.”
She continued by thanking many partners who were instrumental in bringing this project to life. In closing, Lanier remarked, “I want to reiterate how proud I am of what we have accomplished together. This achievement is a reflection of our collective efforts and shared vision for a safer and healthier community.”
The new base, located in Southside, will enable Vital Link to respond more quickly and efficiently in Southern Independence. They have serviced 650 patients since beginning operations at the new base.
