Hope for the Holidays 5k and Half Marathon
Join us for the 2024 Hope for the Holidays 5k and Half Marathon on Saturday, December 7. The race is held in memory of Garrett Yeager, a beloved friend, son, brother, and father.
All proceeds will be donated in his memory to the Special Olympics of Independence County and New Hope Refuge, a Christ-centered ministry where women with addictions can find a new life through Jesus Christ. Both these organizations mean a lot to the Yeager family and help many families throughout Arkansas.
With this course, you get a little bit of everything. Starting out in the beautiful Eagle Mountain neighborhood before heading over to the beautiful campus of Lyon College, where you'll run a 3/4 mile trail section of the course, before running country roads leading back to the main highway to work your way back to Eagle Mountain.
Each participant will receive a finishers medal and a race hoodie. Runners must register by November 11 to be guaranteed a hoodie. Packet pickup will be race morning starting at 6:30.
