Make a splash in Batesville at the 2026 Bad Boy Kids Splash and Dash, a one-of-a-kind youth event happening June 13, 2026, at the Batesville Community Center and Aquatics. Designed for kids ages 4 to 18, this fun indoor race combines swimming in the competition pool with a run on the indoor walking track, creating an exciting experience for young athletes of all skill levels. The event also includes run-only and swim-only options, and floaties and life jackets are allowed, making it welcoming for a wide range of participants.

Participants compete by age group, with distances scaled for each division, from a 25-yard swim and quarter-mile run for the youngest racers to a 150-yard swim and 1-mile run for older kids. Every participant receives a T-shirt, medal, goody bag, and a $5 aquatics park voucher, and after the race, families can enjoy post-event festivities including games, local vendors, and more in the outdoor fun zone. The outdoor water park opens at 1 p.m., giving families another reason to turn race day into a full Batesville outing.

More than just a race, the Splash and Dash supports a meaningful cause. Each registration helps support adult literacy in North Central Arkansas through OFLP, a nonprofit that provides free instruction in reading, math, and English. With affordable registration, scholarship opportunities, and a family-friendly atmosphere, the Bad Boy Kids Splash and Dash is a fun and meaningful summer event for both local families and visitors looking for an active weekend in Batesville.
