Bats in Batesville

Help protect our local bats! 🦇 Join Jacob Richards, Park Interpreter at Jacksonport State Park, for a fun, hands-on session all about the Little Brown Bat and Big Brown Bat—what they eat, why they matter, and how we can help them thrive.

After the talk, roll up your sleeves and help build bat boxes for downtown Batesville! All materials are provided, and participants will have the chance to win a completed bat box to take home.

👨‍👩‍👧 Families welcome: Children may participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
