Ribbon Cutting Held for Board on 3rd
The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony to welcome The Board on 3rd as new Chamber members. The celebration also highlighted the continued growth of eateries in downtown Batesville.
“Vibrant restaurants play a vital role in the growth and economic development of small downtowns,” said BACC Chief Operating Officer Novella Humphrey. “They not only draw residents and visitors into the heart of the community but also create foot traffic that benefits surrounding shops and services. A lively dining scene fosters a sense of place, encourages longer visits, supports local jobs, and contributes to a thriving local economy — making restaurants essential anchors in the revitalization and sustainability of downtown districts.” Board on 3rd co-owner Grace Hawkins shared her excitement for bringing a new dining option to the area. “We are thrilled to bring a fusion-style restaurant to downtown Batesville. We love our community like family and wanted to bring something new and fun for all types of people to enjoy,” she said. “The vibe of downtown is so unique, and that’s exactly what we want to present at the restaurant — a unique vibe where patrons can experience great food in a cool atmosphere.” Located at 156 S.
