Oak & Iron Menswear Celebrates Opening
The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Oak & Iron Menswear, the newest addition to the Midtown Plaza Shopping Center and the only dedicated menswear retailer in the Batesville area. The Chamber proudly welcomed owners Brandi and Reese Birkhead into its membership and into the community’s growing network of small businesses.
Amanda Roberts, Membership Engagement Specialist for the Chamber opened the ceremony. “We are so excited to welcome the Birkhead family to the Chamber and celebrate another new business opening here in our community.” Attendees joined in a countdown as the ribbon was officially cut, marking the store’s grand opening.
Owner Brandi Birkhead shared the inspiration behind Oak & Iron, which brought a long-needed menswear option to the region. “In nine weeks, this dream came true,” she said. “At Oak & Iron Menswear, our mission is to serve the hardworking men who build and lead in our community. We provide dependable clothing that fits real life—from durable workwear to the kind of clothes you’re proud to wear on Sunday morning.”
Roberts also introduced co-store manager Reese Birkhead, Brandi’s daughter, who shared her excitement about beginning a new career through the launch of Oak & Iron.
